I just got cast as Lady Macbeth.
It is definitely a role that I have always wanted to play.
I've always wanted to play someone who died tragically, like Nancy in Oliver or Fantine in Les Mis. I mean whats more fun than being a dying hooker or being beaten to death?
As for specific roles, Logainne in 'Spelling Bee' would be the greatest in the world. Even Jay Reiss from the show told me I'd make a great Logainne.
Eliza in MFL
Janet in RHS
Sally in Cabaret
Maria in WSS
Velma in Chicago
Carla in NINE
Julie in Carousel
Mama Rose in Gypsy
And in non-broadway, I would die to be Scarlett O'Hara.
