I'm not as well-schooled in the practice of law as some other people but I have to think that Tyler's state of mind around the time of the suicide. Are they trying to suggest that Dharun wouldn't have done it if he knew Tyler was depressed? That doesn't fly with me. His malicious actions are, in part, what led to Tyler's death.

His actions reek of gross indifference and intent to humiliate Clemente. He needs to be made an example. There must be consequences. Too many lives were destroyed because of what he did.
