Posted: 3/28/08 at 2:08pmAre you sure? David Schwimmer? You didn't like him when he was in Friends or anything? I have a huge aversion to David Schwimmer.

Posted: 3/28/08 at 2:15pmThat's why his involvement is being played down. A lot of people despise Schwimmer.

Posted: 3/28/08 at 4:57pmDavid Schwimmer directed one of the best directed plays I have ever seen. His production of "The Serpent" when he was a senior at Northwestern has stayed with me all these years later.

Anything Simon Pegg writes and stars in is going to be hilarious!
His past films have included SHAUN OF THE DEAD and HOT FUZZ.

HOT FUZZ was very very entertaining.
I will be seeing RUN FATBOY RUN soon.

You do that, Cruel. The rest of us will see it now and enjoy it immensely.
Simon Pegg and Hank Azaria...doesn't get much better than that, for me.

Love Pegg and Azaria, but the movie's borderline-awful. Completely middle-of-the-road and by the numbers, and a garish juxtaposition of sentimental romantic comedy and gross-out gags (e.g.: a blister is popped and the pus squirts all over someone's face). And don't be fooled by Pegg's co-writing credit-- he simply combed through Michael Ian Black's script and made the appropriate revisions to transplant MIB's U.S.A.-set script to London. Not one iota of the wit and competence that made up "Hot Fuzz" and "Shaun of the Dead."
Sorry to be a party pooper, but I was hoping this movie would fulfill on the promise of its cast, and it was incredibly lame.
