no, it wasn't rush singing. it was voice impressionist paul shanklin.

imus was fired for what he himself said. not for what he allowed on his show.

Actually, if you want to nitpick, Imus didn't get fired for what he said. He got fired because people complained to his sponsors, who then pulled out on him.

Clear Channel has its fingers in everything, and Rush (unbelievably) has a following in this country, so they can afford to take a little loss here and there for what they get in return.

It depends on why they changed the race of the character. I believe that in Hollywood, mixed race on-screen romance is avoided. I don't know why, but it seems like the big African American male actors don't get the love scenes their white counterparts do.

And I think it's an awful movie....
