SLEVIN (2006)

I kinda like Josh Hartnett... I like Bruce Willis, Freeman, Lui and even Tucci.. and I'm willing to give this movie a chance because it could be good...

But, after reading about it on IMDB, I see that it's directed by Paul McGuigan, who directed WICKER PARK.

WICKER PARK was one of the few movies I actually walked out on. (The first Lord of the Rings and Not Another Teen Movie were the other two). I thought Wicker Park was boring, not to mention I was confused through the first half hour.

Has anyone seen this? What are your thoughts? Please share.

No offense.. but I don't see why you'd walk out of Lord of the Rings. And Wicker Park (in my opinion) was pretty formulaic. That being said, the film looks intriguing. Has it been released yet? I thought it was opening soon (not already open)

I watched the first hour and bored out of my mind. Pretty costumes. Pretty sets. Pretty locations, but god... I didn't give a damn about some hobbit... I tried, but left. Didn't care to see the other two.

Yes. I have read the books... but the screenplay shouldn't have been word for word.

And Wicker Park was just weird. The whole blond girl, and crazy girl, and phone booth.

There are comments and ratings on IMBD, so somebody saw it. Actually, it opened at Sundance Film Festival.
