yeah but not for colleges and universities. So now I have to day off with everyone else. And you never get a snow day in college. This is great!

That's so great! I'm so happy for you!

marin, I share in your excitement!!! My university didn't close, but the first two classes were cancelled...and guess who only had the first two classes! Me!!!! No work today, so I get to sleep in for the third day in a row! And tomorrow, my first class is at 11 a.m....so I can sleep until 10! 4 days in a row! Life is good.

Wow, that was a LOT of exclamation points. But I just love sleep so much....

yeah, we are the only university in the area that is closed. The 100% commuter college down the street didn't even close. Hey I feel blessed!

I would've loved having a snow day. Had to settle for a delayed opening, which in the corporate world almost never happens.

I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2.

I went to college in Vermont. Every freaking day in winter was a snow day, and we never got a cancellation!

mef--I know what you mean!! I go to school in VT and we never have school cancelled! It was hella snowy today and we still had class.

Why do we play with fire? Why do we run our fingers through the flame? Why do we leave our hands on the stove, although we know we're in for some pain? -tick...tick...BOOM!

Too true. I was working this morning (for admissions at my school) and everyone kept calling to see if we were still doing our info sessions and tours, and I was like, we don't cancel anything for snow.

My school is opened for every holiday - only the administrators are off...professors and all have to come to class...

We had about 6" of snow overnight but it started turning to rain by 9 AM and is gradually washing away.

I visited in the summer--it's just not the same. But I grew up in MT, so snow wasn't exactly new to me.

Yeah, I'm from New Jersey, so we always had snow in the winter, but not THIS MUCH SNOW. Hell, if we got 6 inches, school would be closed.
