I don't understand the way this is being marketed. That woman in the commercial definitely made it seem like she used this at home. When I fall asleep on the sofa, it's unintentional; I don't plan on it. If you have the energy to set up the Dreamie on the sofa, you probably have the energy to walk to your actual bed.

Why don't these Snuggie/Dreamie people just buy a larger throw blanket instead? I recommend Brookstone.

Well, in the past, I have been kicked out of my room for guests, but I definitely liked my blankets and pillows better than that thing. Actually, I probably could have just set my sleeping bag up, and it would have been better.

But if it's houseguests, you would have time to plan for something else instead of the teeny throw blanket the woman is using in the commercial.

From what I gather, the original Snuggie is something called a "Slanket" and it's marketed on QVC for a much higher price. This year's Slankets feature built-in slippers and a pouch for remote controls, etc. They look nice but aren't worth the price if you ask me (and you didn't).

My go to 15 year old for all things cool tells me that the Snuggie is lame but the Slanket is cool because it is made from better fabric and comes in better colors. He's a little computer nerd, but I adore him.
