STORMS!!!

I am so sick of storms!

I live in the Texas panhandle so needless to say the storms we get here include tornadoes. I am terrified of tornadoes!!
Right now there is a confirmed half a mile wide tornado in the panhandle. I AM NOT A HAPPY CAMPER.

Please encouragement to get through this would be greatly appreciated.

another one?? damn! I am so tired of the storms too!! I'm tired of waking up at 2 in the morning b/c of the freaking alarm. Just another reason why I hate Texas

All these Texans. We've had the scary clouds, but no rain. Santa Cruz, on the other hand, total down pour.

I also hate when the stupid tornado sirens
go off, even when the "tornado" is in the
southern-most part of the county I live in.

aaah I know!! they went off for like 1 hour here last week -- it drove me crazy. Literally ... I was ready to jump off a tall building just to get the noise to stop

Also they go off when you least expect it
so it scares the bajeebers out of you.

I love storms, but that's because the worst we get here is lightning and thunder. :)
I hope your storms stop soon though... tornados sound scary... we had a tornado warning once that I remember (I was in 5th grade) and I was terrified. It was really windy and raining really hard and they wouldn't let us leave the school for three hours after the bell rang.

Pray that a tornado doesn't plow me over in my sleep:P

HUGE storm has been going on here for the past 1 hours... we lost power 3 times within 5 min only a few minutes ago... and seriously, i'm gonna go blind cuz the lightning is constant like a strobe light!

I hate the strobe-light effect -- it happens in my room every time there's a storm because i have lots of windows.

I love storms!

But I know lots of people don't. You'll most likely be fine, if it's any consolation. Tornados don't do as much damage as a lot of other natural disasters and you can be safe. Go to your basement or the innermost room in your house.

We had a great storm in Chicago on Saturday and my youngest cried and asked me if one of those "twisty things" was coming.

Yesterdays storms take the crown!

They were all grouped around the city I live in,
and there was wallclouds everywhere funnels tornadoes
you name it. I was most concerned when the weather man
said that there was a tornado down the street at the
Wal-mart. NOT MY WALLY WORLD!!!! Good thing was that
there was no injuries or major damage reported.
I'm bracing myself for another round of storms like
that again today. Fun fun fun. . .

I live in Cape Coral, FL. AKA - Part of Hurricane Charley's warpath. It has rained here literally every day since the first of June, including right now. I'll be glad to get out of Florida in the fall.

Wooo, just got through a Tornado Warning tonight. Leftover angst from Hurrican Arline/Earlene/however you spell it. But, hey, it's FUN hanging out with your neighbors in the basement of the apartment complex! *sarcasm! sarcasm!*

We were on a tornado warning all last night. I'll be damn happy to get the hell out of Florida soon.
