Has anyone else seen this show? Just watched the pilot and I really like it! The over-the-top references to make SURE you know were in the seventies were a bit much (close-ups of the Dr. Scholl's sandals, changing the eight track tape player, the pull-top pudding tins, etc.) but I think it has potential.
Plus, you get to see Grant Show rockin' the pornstache.

First off, I'll watch anything with Miriam Shor.
I watched it last night and I really enjoyed it. I liked all the over the top 70s references!
The weird thing about this cast is that they all look vaguely familiar. It wasn't till I went to imdb after that I realized that one of the dudes was from the UK version of Coupling.

I haven't watched it yet. I watched Kathy Griffin instead. I'm doing to save Swingtown for the weekend.

I had to search your profile to see it. So weird. BWW glitch!
Since it seems that you and I are the only people on BWW watching this show, I'll hijack for a second and tell you that every time I'm waiting for the bus to take me from the Walgreen's to my home I see a flower shop with a handwritten signed taped to the door that says "blue roses." I always think of you!

Aw, thanks Phyl! I feel like I live in Walgreen's, btw. I'm there at least two or three times a week.
I'm glad you're watching, because I don't know another soul who is! We'll catch up on the Swingtown dish after you've seen episode two. I will say that watching anything involving the kids--especially the younger one and the neighbor--feels like a huge waste of my time. I LOVE when they focus on the adults. There's so much they can examine in terms of relationships, so many places they can go, so many juicy possibilities!
Plus, it's like watching one of those "A.M. Gold" infomercials when you're trying to fall asleep at 2:00 a.m. The music is a lot of fun.

I don't know if they had the same commercial in NYC, but here there was a commercial for some 60s anthology. I know it's the wrong era, but it's still oldies!
Loved this episode as well.

I don't know when this show is on but it's the WRONG time. It seems like whenever I sit down and try to find something good to watch I end up settling for Law & Order reruns. I guess I'll have to hunt this down on line or wait for DVDs.

I've been watching it - I'm really enjoying it! Of course, I'll watch anything with Jack Davenport - I fell in love with him in Coupling (one of my FAVORITE shows).
It will be interesting to see what they do with the characters on this show.
