A singing and dancing theatre extravaganza, ’SWonderful bursts onto the stage like a Technicolor musical, celebrating the music and lyrics of George & Ira Gershwin. The script is a series of 5 mini-musicals taking the 5 performers and live orchestra on a ride to the different times and places that made the Gershwins the most successful songwriting team in history: NYC in 1916, Paris in the ‘30s, Hollywood in the ’40s and New Orleans in the ’50s. The stories are inspired by the Gershwins’ real lives, and the music features nearly 30 timeless classics like “Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off,” “Shall We Dance,” “Someone to Watch Over Me,” “Rhapsody in Blue,” “Swanee,” “Fascinating Rhythm,” “Strike Up The Band,” “Nice Work If You Can Get It,” “Summertime,” “I’ve Got Rhythm,” and “Funny Face".
