I once heard a recording of Stravinsky's Sacrificial Dance from The Rite of Spring that was conducted and played at breakneck speed. I don't recall the conductor or the orchestra, but I do know that it's one of the only recordings of the piece at such a fast tempo.
If anyone knows what I'm talking about and can provide info, I'll be very thankful.
