ok so as you all know (or might not know...) I dropped my iPod yesterday and it wasn't turning on or anything. Well just a few minutes ago I clicked the menu and middle button together and the Apple logo came on and then the picture of a file with an exclamation mark came up and then after that a picture of an iPod with a sad face and Xs for eyes came up with an exclamation mark by it. What does that mean??
So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space
Meanwhile I was charging my ipod and the screen went blank and I can't get it started. Its two weeks old. I may have to run over to Prince Street tommorrow
'Take me out tonight where's there's music and there's people and they're young and alive.'
Did you trying holding down the menu and enter button to reset it?

That doesn't necessarily bode disaster. Check in "My Computer" to see if your iPod is being treated as an extrenal hard drive. It should look like another drive on top of your hard disc and CD/DVD drive, and it'll probably be labelled something like, "IPOD (E:)".
If you see it there, it means, the computer at least acknowledges the iPod's existence.
I ran over to Prince Street and the tech person tried to troubleshoot it and said it was acting really funky and they gave me a new one. Now I have to get my 900 + songs back on once its charged.
