Sam Mendes in discussions to direct 23rd Bond film

Forget this as a 'bad move' for Mendes, I really thought after the Marc Forster experiment that producers were done with so-called 'cerebral and cultured' filmmakers. Not that I was holding my breath they would do the right thing and bring back Martin Campbell. Peter Morgan is doing the screenplay fwiw.
