This is so sad.
"COVINA, Calif. – A man wearing a Santa suit who had been suffering marital problems opened fire at a Christmas party at a house that then caught fire, leaving more than three people dead, authorities said Thursday.
Hours later, police found the body of the suspect, Bruce Jeffrey Pardo, 45, at the home of his brother early Thursday in the Sylmar area of Los Angeles. Police said he killed himself but would not say how."

That is so sad.
I was driving by a Gas Station 2 years ago and saw a drunk, armed, santa surrounded by 20 cop cars. My sister, sitting next to me, got terrified that it was Santa.

Extremely sick. The guy had guns and a flame thrower.
At least six people at the party were killed.
I just got off the phone with my mother.
Almost as bad.
I hear ya, Diva. My mother is at my house right now. For a week. A long week...
Where is the Santa with a gun when you need him?
I just fell out of my chair laughing!!!
I just heard that the first thing he did was shoot the 8 year old girl in the face that answered the door - SICK!!!!!!
It being winter break, my mother, dad, and I are at home all week (I'm a student, they're music teachers). They insist on doing everything 'as a family.'
Like, sing "Together" from Gypsy?
This is my first Christmas without my mother.
I just heard on the radio that the police "surmise" that the guy had much more violence planned, and they found $10,000 cash and a plane ticket on his body.
So he was going to give everyone money and then fly off?
I would think if he was going to do more damage, he's have more guns.
Sorry about your Mother. You can have mine, if you want, but I think you'd just want to return her.
^ TheatreDiva-- actually, they insist on going car trips, and my brother and sister and I belt out Sweeney Todd and Les Miserables in the car, and my parents shout at us to be quiet so they can drive. They even yell 'shut up' when one of us is singing in the shower or in our bedrooms.
I actually love my parents a lot... I just wish they weren't home ALL. DAY.
Sure, I love my mom too. She just tends to annoy the crap out of me when we are under the same roof for any length of time. In fact, she's probably going to sneak up behind me and read this post and then I'll be GROUNDED FOR LIFE! (and I'm 43 years old!)
Diva, according to the report I just heard they did find more weapons as well as a pipe bomb.
And thanks, but one mother in my life was enough. I do miss her, but when she was alive I had the exact same sentiments as you.

If they are singing 'Together', I at least hope they sing it better than the version pictured by schmerg.
I just finished reading the LA Times and thepolice were puzzled by the item he had used to shoot flammable liquids through the house. They said they'd never seen anything like it.
Sick.
Authorities found cash & a one way plane ticket to Canada.
It seems dying was not part of his plan. I hope he has his just reward about now.
This is so terrible. My sympathy to the family members left alive. I can't even begin to imagine what they are going through emotionally right now.
