I wonder if they can also pray away the black. Or maybe pray away the Mexican. Perhaps they can also pray cures for left-handedness or people who like liver and onions. Personally, I'm hoping a huge gay church will get together and announce they are praying away the straight.

This is the biggest reason I despise James Dobson and Focus on the Family. For an organization who finds homosexuality so despicable, they are absolutely obsessed with it...

Maybe they could pray themselves with a "Pray Away the Ignorance" or "Pray Away the Stupidity" or better yet "Pray away the Hate".

Anyone not freaked out by the aol subscribers might find the results of a current poll noteworthy: When asked about this very issue, 41% -- Over one hundred thousand respondants -- said they believed the "pray away the gay" program worthy. A hundred thousand people on-line thinking praying away homosexual urges is a solution in 2008? And of course, 57% approve of Herself, too. I expected that to be higher, considering. Perhaps it's just her reluctance to use biblical names for her childen (naming them for Olympic events offends).
