MediaCurves.com reports a shift towards Obama among Democrats, Republicans and Independents who viewed Defenders of Wildlife's TV ad on Palin's wolf hunting policy. The Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund is still raising money to air the ad in key battleground states. The ad has been aired in Ohio, Florida, Northern Virginia and Michigan. They are hoping they can raise funds to play the ad in Colorado and keep it on air in all of these states between now and the upcoming vice presidential debate.

Krissy - I in no way wish to demean the seriousness of this cause nor your committment to it - but honestly, with every other hideous thing that can be said about this woman (up to and including serious life-challenging topics for many,) this seems an interesting topic upon which to hang hopes of defeat.

"The ad which focuses on Governor Palin's record regarding the treatment of wildlife in Alaska seemed to strike a chord with voters," commented Glenn Kessler, president and CEO, HCD Research. "The recent ads from both parties have had little impact among voters. This is the first ad in over a month that seems to have broken through,"

For me, I want to bring this issue to the forefront of the national debate. Up to now it was an Alaskan issue. It's time this issue reached national attention.

Don't get me wrong - I find the policy grotesque, in the extreme.

I just don't know how much traction the plight of wolves will have with people who are losing their houses.

BUT, if it's having an effect, GREAT! And honestly, at this point, ANYTHING that turns people against this embarrassing, insulting cartoon of a ticket is OK BY ME!

Wolves are bad! It's in the Bible, which makes it American. You know, the part when Eve wanted to eat the apple but the gay wolf in drag told her she had big breasts and then ate her like a sexist and that is why it's good for reforming health care and creating jobs and it's really about taxpaying the bad witches from unemployment welfare reform who I did not try to fire have an affair with my unmarried pregnant teenage daughter which has earmarked the Bridge to Nowhere which I personally shot down and ate for dinner didnottrytobananybooks.

On, Mister Matt, the upcoming vice presidential debate has the potential of being the Greatest Show on Earth. I just hope they don't disappoint me.
