Saw V

Saw V

Coming October 24th! I'm sure there are many people who are sick of the Saw films and think they should no longer be made, but I could not disagree more. I cannot WAIT for this movie.

Who's with me?

re: Saw V

There are really FIVE of these things?!?!?

re: Saw V

I know...they're so good, you'd think there would at LEAST be six or seven of them. re: Saw V

You REALLY need Tazzy to keep you company, don't you? re: Saw V

re: Saw V

Apparently so...
Taz - come out, come out, wherever you are! I need some back up. re: Saw V

But really, Q, have you seen any of the sequels?

The SEQUELS?!?

Oh, my dear, I couldn't possibly sit through 2 seconds of ANY of them re: Saw V

I fall into the category of those who don't understand wanting to watch stuff like this. I VIGOROUSLY defend the right for them to be produced and 'enjoyed', but I will NEVER get them - on any level.

That's why you need Taz!

Q - Ah, I see. It's an aquired taste.

If you liked the first one, Fromage, I recommend the others. The only one that I could go without watching again is the third one. The second is my favorite.

The first 3 were fine, but I found the 4th one atrocious ! But a FIFTH one ???? Where can it go, Jigsaw died in the third, for crying out loud !!!

Lol. Good thing the third one sucked...you've now been spared from watching it!

Love The Usual Suspects by the way. I saw another good "thriller" type movie the other night with Kevin Spacey in it. Don't remember the name off-hand, but it was pretty impressive.

re: Saw V

I just looked it up and it's called Consenting Adults, but Seven is a GREAT film too. You can't really go wrong with Kevin Spacey.

re: Saw V

Can't wait. For those keeping score, part is a bona fide classic. I never saw the last twist coming. And it was right there in front of me the whole time.

Part 2 was almost as good. A lot more red stuff though.

Part three sucked on it's own (and has the nastiest scene in the series - that brain surgery - whoa!), but seen together with part 4 it makes a lot more sense.

That's what I enjoy about the series (besides the depraved and awesome traps), each part is a continuation of the same story.
They are all so interlocked you really can't see one without having seen the previous.

And the way they keep the original jigsaw in the movies is ingenious.

re: Saw V

This is how old I am: I thought the topic line meant you just saw "V", the 80s sci-fi mini-series.

Marc Singer was dreamy.
