After some serious thought on this, I have decided (for the present at least) , to refrain from posting on the board
First of all, I formally apologize for starting the thread in question . It was done out of anger and that is the worst time to do something. To all, and the specific party in question,I humbly apologize.I was wrong to say what I felt on the board and should have kept it to myself. The fact that so many people, publicly and via PM's, wished me well while this person said nothing really got to me. This is a person whose house my wife and I shared last Christmas . For a stupid reason, this person decided to end the friendship. This was bad enough but for this person not to even acknowledge this got to me. Again I am sorry. I find it amazing that there was , and rightly so, a very big commotion over my post& yet there was total silence when Rath called me Saddam Hussein. If you ain't part of the clique must be the reason
I must single some people out
Papa - I will miss you. Keep in touch
Third Row Center - Get that colonoscopy & let me know when all is OK
Dolly - I was just getting the hang of dealing with you. Keep on needling people in your own inimitable way
Rath - You I will not miss. I suggest if you never got to the bottom of what you previously accused me of, that you get Magnum or Columbo to find out who did it
Dame - I was sidetracked with the 1999 TONY DVD - I will try & get it to you before I go in. You still owe me a drink
To all those who publicly and privately expressed your concern & wished me well & promised prayers,I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thanks to one & all
To those who want to know how my saga turns out, PM me . Those who I consider friends & vice versa. Stay in touch
I will be at the flea market in September & maybe we can get together than.
I told my story because I considered many of you my extended family & thought by me telling what happened to me you would watch out for your health in this area. One person said they had been ignoring it and would get theirs done post haste. I feel good about that. The outpouring of sympathy & well wishes is what I will take away from this experience
Families drift away & sometimes come back. I will reassess everything once my medical problems along with my wifes is resolved
Thanks again. It has been a blast

Once again, Roxy, the Saddam comment was a joke, as you started a mysterious thread stating that anyone with theater tickets past a certain date would be in trouble for some ominous reason. You dragged it out and dragged it out, each post more mysterious than the last about something horrific about to happen on a certain date in NYC.
It was disturbing, to say the least. You wouldn't answer anyone's questions as to what you were talking about (I believe it ended up to be the impending subway strike). I finally reacted. It was - for the billionth time, since you can't let go of it - a JOKE. You must admit that you have a habit of starting manipulative threads and then becoming upset when people react to that manipulation in a way that you don't like.
And I never "accused" you of anything. It was something that was passed on to me.

Which thread are we talking about?
Although I did not agree with Mr. Roxy on "Lestat", I still enjoyed the discussions. Sorry to see you go. Hope everything works out regarding your health.

I always feel it's sad when some old BWW members go away.
But on the other hand lately those "I just want to tell you that I'm not gonna post anymore" threads have become a fashion itself. So I don't really know how serious this appears to be.

jim, this is the thread he's referencing, although he deleted the first post on it.
Basically, he's apologizing now for saying in that original post that another poster(apparently a former friend of his) was dead to him and his wife, and that he felt sorry for their significant other, because this poster did not wish him well when he announced his prognosis the other day.

I wish you good outcomes for your medical problems, Roxy, truly.
But I *do* have to ask how this thread is appreciably different than the first one? I know it is framed as an apology, but it really isn't, since you continue to make the same case against her, just more obliquely.

This is just a message board? It isn't real life?

That means he never really loved me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
