What is really scary is that the London bombers were "normal" (teacher, worker in a food store etc ) & they gave out no vibes to anyone of their double life

What's even more scary is that NYC police will be boarding buses to teach people to recognize suicide bombers. If the police know what a suicide bomber looks like, why don't they arrest them?

"Police in New York will board city buses and subway trains and teach passengers how to recognize suicide bombers, officials said on Thursday in the wake of the deadly blasts blamed on such bombers in London."

Why is this so surprising to people, that the 4 suicide bombers lived outwardly normal lives? How else did they put together something that obviously took a lot of meticulous planning without drawing attention to what they are doing?

I don't think it's so much surprising that they had normal lives, but why they would want to disrupt the normal life. One of them had a baby daughter. It's hard to comprehend why a person would blow themselves up and intentionally miss out on the joy of watching their child grow.

While we would all like to think that terrorists wear red flags to make them readily visible, they do not. I am not surprised at all that they kept a low profile. If you don't want to be found out and arrested before you pull off your scheme, you have to blend in.

The people who took flight lessons here in the US prior to the World Trade Center attack were also low profile.
