Did you ever see the movie “Scavenger Hunt”? (1979)
It was a hilarious movie about an old game company owner (played by the incomparable Vincent Price) who dies and leaves his fortune to whoever amongst his heirs wins a scavenger hunt. The rest is history.
The cast included:
Scatman Crothers, Roddy McDowall, Richard Benjamin, Richard Mulligan, Tony Randall, Dirk Benedict, Meat Loaf, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Cloris Leachman
Unfortunately, it has not been released on DVD.
No, but I do enjoy a scavenger hunt every now and again. My friend's frat had him on a Scavenger Hunt for his pledging, and I was so jealous.

The craziest thing I ever retreived for a scavenger hunt was I stole the X from a Texaco sign.
i had a friend who threw a holiday party every year with a Scavenger Hunt; he'd divide the guest list up into teams of people who didn't know each other. Really really really fun.

I saw Scavenger hunt years ago. It was Ok. But a better film that is similar is Its A Mad MAd MAd World.
liked "scavenger hunt" but loved "midnight madness" that movie was a gem.
i liked this movie alot for a while, but then I watched it too much and wore it out. *oops*
the strangest thing I ever retrieved from a scavenger hunt was a hood ornament from a car, which was easily done because my roommates wasn't attached so I took it out of his glovebox and used it.
