I will be going onto my senior year of high school and I want to know about some schools that people think that I should apply to. So far I have

Circle In The Square
Boston Conservatory
AMDA
Las Vegas Academy (?) {I couldn't find much info on this school, if I could get some that would be awesome.}

And thats about it. I just need some suggestions. And I come from a low-income family so I need some affordable schools also. Anyway, just need suggestions.

Isn't LVA a performing arts high school?

Low income--look at Point Park; if you're any good they'll give your a scholarship.

I chose, and my world was shaken. So what? The choice may have been mistaken. The choosing was not.

Thats what I was trying to figure out about it. It looked like a high school, but I didn't know if it was just really young people in the picture. And there was no info on their site. So thank you I will cross that off my list. Point park...I'll check it out.

LVA is a high school.

Circle in the Square and AMDA are two-year programs and you DO NOT get a college degree for graduating there. AMDA has an agreement with the New School where you can get a BFA through New School, though.

I know a few people who have gotten great scholarships from Point Park, I'd try there.

as far as cheaper schools, boco is not one of them. with tuition, room, board and fees (not including travel if you live far away) they run around 45K. and being a conservatory, they also dont give out scholarship money to incoming freshman for grades, and few are givent talent scholarships.

i would suggest schools like ocu and otterbein, which are also liberal arts schools that give generously for grades as well as talent. on ocu's site it says that 85 percent of kids get financial aid as well.

penn state also has an up and coming program and are a little bit less expensive. tuition runs around 22K and they are also might give you academic money too.

If you have above strong academics look in to liberal arts schools and larger schools with strong theater departments. These schools typically have large endowments and will give money based on need. I know a couple of people who are paying next to nothing for their college tuition--kind of blows my mind. Vassar, Amherst, Wesleyan, Yale, Sarah Lawrence, Skidmore, Conneticut College, Northwestern.

SUNY Purchase.

If you're looking for great MT or T training at a more less expensive price I would suggest you think about OU (University of Oklahoma), New World School of the Arts, Uni. of Alabama, Sam Houston State, and Uni of Miami.
