"Is this because they're not 20 years old and shaved from here to there?"
THANK YOU DGRANT!!!
It's nice to see realistic normal guys in fashion ads. I prefer the "ehhhhh" models to the shaved chiseled mannequin clones ANY day. The ads, guys and clothes are all superior to any A&F ad as far as I'm concerned. They make me feel like I don't have to torture or alter myself to be attractive. The crotch grab doesn't really bother me because it has an air of whimsy and is not photographed as foreplay or a handjob or anything. A&F ads are less about clothes and more about skin and muscles. This features the clothing better and focuses more on the relationship of the guys rather than their state of undress or their sex appeal to others. It's their appeal to each other that is the heart of the photos and that is what makes it so charming. The ads really aren't that explicit. It's clear that they are aiming for the gay market without stereotyping the gay porn obsession. Bravo! Cumming should take notes.

I promise I'm not an age-ist.
I think Ed Harris is one of the hottest guys on the planet.
The guys in these ads just don't do it for me. At least not in the pics that I've seen.

Mr. Matt said it better than I ever could. The sexy and tender playfulness of the guys makes it hot. And that kiss!
One of the sexiest print ads I ever saw was one from DKNY, featuring a salt-and pepper haired man in his mid-40s reclining against a wall. He was wearing jeans and a knit sweater, which was raised, with his hand resting on his lean, firm, and FURRY belly.
