Score: A Hockey Musical (featuring Olivia Newton John)

It got a theatrical release and some press here in Canada--2 or 3 years back? English language Canadian films (as opposed to the thriving Quebecois industry) have a hard time even getting attention at the multiplex--the last time I can think of was another hockey film, Goon--so it was treated like a big deal. I think it played about a week here, the trailers looked awful but it got some ok reviews (though they tended to be kinda patronizing.) I remember that the writer/director had had some success with Canadian kids films before, and this was some sort of dream project.

I saw this when it premiered at the Toronto Film Festival.
