I went last night and I got two words: High octane!
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”

Fabuloso JRB!
I'm high on the second-hand fumes alone and I haven't been yet.

Only poppers I know are the champagne corks popping to celebrate JRB's success.

Two of those champagne bottles belonged to me! (They have those Pommery Pops at The Duplex. Love them!)
But the night belonged to Jerby.

I was SUPER privileged, after three years of attempts, to finally storm the stage with Jerby.
This isn't about me, though, it's about his show. Seriously, folks, please go see it. Not only is he performing so well but, if he chose to, he could be writing shows for people. He has put together a fantastic night. Absolutely fantastic.
And I mean come on! He does Salt-n-Pepa!

Wow! Thanks you guys!!
I've been very honored by the response. This has been a thrilling show for me to perform. It was also thrilling to put together as many of my friends and I were able to collaborate to create all that you see and hear. I'm so happy for them as well as I have heard a lot of compliments for the things that they did.
Can't wait for tomorrow night!

Kudo's to Jerby for an incredible evening of song (and dance!) along with some of the most amazing "story" telling I've ever experienced.

I, too, enjoyed the show. And although I know how much work goes into any cabaret, it was SO apparent how much blood, sweat and tears went into the creation of Jerby with a Why. He's not afraid to expose himself (emotionally, guys...you *know* what I mean) and the slide/video component was VERY effective.
Strong work, Jerby!

Thank you to everyone who made it to the show. As I said, I am truly honored by the response. It means all the more to me because I share those compliments with a group of very talented people that did direct, choreograph, music direct, photograph, paint, run the lights and sound, play the piano, pose for pictures, record voice overs, "costume" me, help create the visual and audio, support me, etc. This is why I love theatre: the colloboration with other artists and then with the audience.
I don't know if this show will get produced again, but I do know that it's just the beginning of what's in store for me. So, I thank all of you for supporting me. It is definitely one of the things that is great about this little ol' community we have at BWW.

Last night, Miss Cherry Jones said that if you're doing a piece next year, she's there!

Logistics logistics logistics, but, yes, I would be very willing to take the show to other cities if the logistics could be worked out. I did it last summer with the last show--did it in Houston. I know I can put it up there--even have a brilliant accompanist in Houston as the very in demand Ray Fellman would prob not be available to travel.
However, another idea is up my sleeve if it will suffice...
