Hey All,
I posted this on the main board, but I thought I'd try here as well.
I'll be taking a very quick trip to NYC later this month to see THE VAUDEVILLIANS and PIPPIN.....and need some hotel recommendations. It's been several years since I traveled there.....anyone have some recommendations for some modest priced hotels?
Many Thanks!
Windy

The last few times I went, I stayed at the New York Manhattan Hotel on 32nd near Marcy's. It was affordable and comfortable with the free breakfast in the morning. The nearby Korean bakeries and restaurants along the block were an added bonus.

Don't overlook the Pod hotels.
You would be more than welcome to stay at my gorgeous clothing-optional penthouse in Manhattan if I only had one.

Namo - very interesting! I assume the cost is less due to small space.
WCA - really wanted to see Pippin this summer, but did not make it!

It's close to Grand Central and the 42nd Street shuttle if you're aiming for the theater district. Pod51 is mostly shared bathrooms, but there's a light above the door in the bedrooms that tells you which bathrooms are available on your floor and which is in use. That one is just a short walk to the subway.
