Jub-Jub was her Aunt's!

They got Jub-Jub in the episode where they go to the Aunt's will-reading. Marge gets the Potato Chips that are shaped like presidents...that Homer eats...

Yes, that episode was called 'Selma's Choice'. At the reading of the will Selma considers having a baby. She looks into artificial insemination. Her choices include a Nobel Prize winner and one of the Sweathogs. Homer has been eating a sumbarine sandwich for weeks. It makes him too sick to take the kids to the themepark. Selma agrees to take them. After doing a lousy job of looking after Bart and Lisa at Duff Gardens, Selma reconsiders the whole baby thing and gets Jub-Jub instead.

In any event, Corine2 can take comfort in the misadventures of Aunt Selma in knowing that, yes, there IS somebody who has it as bad as she. She's a cartoon character of course. And so is Selma.

Jub Jub was given to Selma by her aunt, who urged her to not end up like she did, alone & childless with only her Iguana for affection. As Selma observed when she first met Jub Jub, "why didn't she just give me the bowel obstruction that killed her?"

Troy McLure was the meal ticket who was going to provide a warm flat rock for Jub Jub to lie on.
