How bizarre that he actually survived a plane crash back in 1978 that killed his first wife and several others...how many people are in multiple plane crashes??

Flying in the Alaskan wilderness is always a hazard - even in good weather, with clear sight lines. I don't understand why a seasoned pilot would have taken the chance in rain and fog, but there you have it. My husband had a friend on that flight who didn't survive either. However, his 13 year-old son, Willie, is alive and was flown to a shock-trauma center. At least there were survivors, though I feel badly for all.

This is actually his second major plane crash- the first claimed his wife but he survived.

I agree with Danmag, I mean what are the odds of one person being in two plane crashes?? I bet he knew something about the Kennedy assasination, or the fake moonlanding, or how Dancing With The Stars is rigged.

It reminded me of this story...

Jane Dornacker (October 1, 1947 – October 22, 1986) was an American rock musician, actress, and comedienne turned traffic reporter.

In 1986, while working for WNBC 660 AM Radio in New York City (which became WFAN in 198, she was aboard during two unrelated crashes of the helicopters leased to WNBC. She survived the first crash, but was killed in the second crash into the Hudson River, which occurred as she was in the middle of a live traffic report. Her death came shortly after that of her husband, Bob Knickerbocker, orphaning their 16-year-old daughter.
