"ROCHESTER, Minn. - Al Franken won a resounding endorsement for U.S. Senate Saturday from Democratic activists at their state convention, quickly dispatching with concerns about past jokes that offended some fellow Democrats and promising a tough challenge to incumbent Republican Sen. Norm Coleman.
