I have to translate this monologue into modern day english but I am having trouble with the following lines and I was wondering if anyone could help me out

And that which spites me more than all these wants,
He does it under name of perfect love
As who should say, if I should sleep or eat,
'Twere deadly sickness or else present death.

my monologue is from The Taming of the Shrew -- I don't know if that would be helpful

What upsets me more than all of this [whatever you previously talked about]
He says he deprives me of these things because he loves me
As if to say if I were to sleep or eat
It would lead to a deadly sickness or instant death.

Basically.

yeah, what pinguin said! (God I hated Shakespeare.......)

I flippin' love Shakespeare, and I'm fairly proficient at it, but I hate doing paraphrasing :0)
