Posted: 12/11/05 at 12:56amDid anyone else notice that the entire performance was fake? Her singing, the drum track, and that guy's guitar playing. All fake. It makes me sick to think about how much money these "musicians" make.

Posted: 12/11/05 at 1:03amThere have been singers lip-synching on SNL for YEARS. We only just had our suspicions confirmed when one of them got caught, and became the scapegoat for all the rest.

I actually don't really mind Shakira lip synching. It was primarily a dance performance for her, anyway.
But EVERY part was pre-recorded. And then imitated poorly. Who do they think they're fooling? ESPECIALLY after the whole Ashley Simpson thing. If performers aren't going to actually play or sing, they better start faking it convincingly.
