I hope he helps her shorten her back-swing and add a little more variety to her game. Some of the top players, especially Serena, take the ball early and rob Maria of time to set up her kill shot. And her game is stuck in one gear...hit the ball hard and harder. In contrast, Connors' game was a study in efficiency. I give her full credit for coming back after shoulder surgery and bagging a career slam though. It's just that her game has plateaued and she needs someone who can help her get to the next level if she's going to be a contender for majors in the next few years.
