I never have really been a big fan of Sheryl Crow's. Her "Soak up the Sun" song was okay for a nice piece of fluff. I do think it's nice that she has been visibly supportive of her boyfriend Lance in his current endeavors.

The whole Lance thing is my point. First she sleeps with Kid Rock and gets (surprise!) a hit duet out of it.

Now she's with Lance, just in time for the Tour de France and to have her name in the news every day for "being there." Hmmm...

i don't know that she's a fame whore so much as she is a star f***er who gets to reap the benefits of boning the rich and famous. does that make any sense and is there a distinction to be made or am i nuts?

I think you're correct, papa...she's a weird kind of groupie in that she's already a star...but she still will do anything to sleep with the band, so to speak.
