The short film, entitled ACTING OUT, is a collection of interviews with LGB or T, self identified actors, who share their experiences of having to consciously contort their instinctive gender performances, in order to appeal to casting directors and producers. Casting director Brette Goldstein very honestly and eloquently shares her experiences working with gender nonconforming actors, and the way the entertainment business responds to them.
