I'm trying to find one, and can't seem to find them anywhere. Other than thrift shops, anyone have any suggestions where I can find one online? I haven't seen them in ages...

I don't think they make them any longer. There was a site in the UK, but it has since been removed. Do you have a local chapter of Act Up? I would start there.

Maybe any Gay and Lesbian bookstore. I'm not even sure if A Different Light exists anymore (at least they don't in NYC), you might want to see if there's a website.

A Different Light is still open in the Castro in San Francisco. I don't think they have t-shirts, though.

That's what I'm afraid of... that they don't make them anymore. The ActUp web site doesn't sell them. I might just have to have it made...

Thanks!

You could also ask one of "the sisters" when you see them out and about in Seattle. I dated one here in SF and they ALL had them. Of course - having one made means tailored to you. As Martha would say - "A good thing".

Um... not sure if these are sanctioned by ActUP, but:

Thanks aspen, for I'm looking for the traditional pink triangle one.

Yep cheeze, I think having it made will be best!

A Different light in the Castro had t-shirts when we moved in 1999, on the right back wall......maybe not anymore

checked EBAY for you, they have the old poster, but no t-shirts

Oh my.

Back in the day, I had t-shirts from Act Up New York and Act Up Los Angeles and Act Up London and Act Up Paris and Act Up Portland (Maine), which I got when they hosted the die-in at the Bush compound in Kennebunkport, the only known time that PalJoey and and FindingNamo were together, lying on our backs in a public place, risking arrest.

If I find my t-shirts, DD, do you want them?

YES! Oh my, would you PJ? That would be excellent. I missed those days of activism... got here at the tail end. The activist in me is waking up again...
