I'm auditioning for All-State in two months and I'm really nervous. I need help with two things:
1. I started working on my Italian song. I sound really young. How can I sound older?
2. How can I get better at sight singing?
Any help would be appreciated.

Posted: 3/6/05 at 4:17pmI'm not very good at sight singing, but I have improved loads in the past year from just doing it over and over again every day in choir. My choir director in middle school was just horrible and never taught us a useful way to sight sing and we ended up embarrasing ourselves at District. My new choir director at the high school is fantastic and I have learned so much. Are you singing on solfege? That always helped me.
