I am so super happy because Amazon.com/uk just confirmed that they will be shipping me Sir Antony Sher's bio "Beside Myself" to me, pronto (It's not available in the States.
Has anyone ever seen this brilliant actor onstage?

I was blessed and lucky enough to have seen him in Richard the Third many years back, I was performing in London at the time and was in awe, Looks like I need that book too!
His diary of playing Richard, "The Year of the King" is priceless! I don't know if it's still in print.

I saw him in "Stanley" here several years back (one of his rare appearances in NY).
I wish I'd seen his Richard III -- I've heard that what he did on those crutches had to be seen to be believed.
