re: Slurry Seal

the slurry seal is drying, smells like tar...thank God it isn't too hot, or I'd have to have the swamp cooler on bringing that smell inside.

This is your mid-day Slurry Seal update ;o)

k - just to show how ignorant I am, what's a slurry? (and don't say it's that thing that Laurie and Curley take to the lunch-box sociable).

So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space

re: Slurry Seal

OTA... you beat me to it. What the heck IS slurry seal? A seal that got drunk and was run over by a truck?

re: Slurry Seal

Slurry is a top caot for asphalt. When the asphalt looks gray, dry and old, you spread slurry over it to smooth it out and make it BLACK again.

They do it to Main Street Disneyland all the time to keep it nice.

For some reason I read this topic as "Slutty Zeal"
"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

I do indeed know how to google but thought my clever response (which for me are few and far between) was more fun.
