I haven't seen the woman since 1987 and have no idea what she looks like. She must be shriveled and gray by now. My mother will be 75 so she must be 80.

Your aunt looks pretty much the same. Her hair is grayer and her head bobs more but she still looks the same. Oh yeah, she still carries the New York Times with her constantly. Does she sleep with it?

I swear, I've never seen that woman without the TIMES or (on rare occasions) the LONG ISLAND ADVANCE. I could bump into her at a community event, in a grocery store, a doctor's office--anywhere and she's clutching the NEW YORK TIMES.

It is a status symbol. She thinks she has class if she carries the Times around. { but odesn't read it} She used to make fun of my father for teaching from it in the class room

Remember Kay hart--the teacher's aide at Bellport HS? She did the same thing. She carried the TIMES with her all the time--and a huge ring of keys.

I've had Snapple Apple Pie. I didn't like it that much. I didn't like Watermelon or Banana either.
