yeah, i saw that too, it seemed like such a cute picture, and a bright idea. fortunately the man escaped with minor injuries as the lion was relatively tame. it was like a surreal born free moment.

it totally gives credence to my earlier suggestion that there is a conspiracy to demean the great cats. but personally i look at it as revenge for roy. the dastardly news media, being huge sigfried and roy fans have conspired to find and broadcast stories that will paint large cats in a bad enough light so as to inspire a hysterical kill-off. i can see the maniacs headed into the hills in the backs of pick-up trucks, with confederate flags on the windows and shotguns in their hands searching for...oh wait, those are dean voters headed to iowa.
