Girly, I didn't doubt the power that is Boobs for one moment, it was the youngin's amongst us who'd never heard of the show. The only "crazy" was why he started singing about an aardvark in the first place.

YAY !!! All you people looked at me like I was nuts....when Robbiej never heard of it I started to doubt myself. I went home and went on Youtube and did find an episode of it when Abba was on singing Mamma Mia. Thank You poddie for proven that I didn't just dream this series. BTW Moony..I'm sure harris will know where you can pick up an Aardvark for me.

This is my favorite Philadelphia children's show host, Gene London. SWOON! I really did swoon both times that I was on his show, and I was only 7. And yes, he is.

huh. well, i was alive when the show was on the air. maybe it interferred with my viewing of rin tin tin or diaper changes, i don't know.

does anyone remember what channel wnew was in the nyc/central nj viewing area? was that channel 5?

This is Ranger Hal, my other heart throb. He came on in DC right before Captain Kangaroo. Mark Wilson, who had a magic show on Saturdays, was also hot stuff.

I loved Larry and his organ! I used to wish on the Golden Fleece that Gene was my boyfriend. Again, I was seven.
