So, anyone see TROY?

Anyone see it yet? Was it as delicious as it looks?

re: So, anyone see TROY?

It was a big huge EPIC. Not much acting but lots of battle scenes and delicious mens.

re: So, anyone see TROY?

I'm gonna go see it just for the scene with Julie Christie as Pitt's mom. LOVE her.

And yeah, I hear we get to see some skin (Brad). Yay!

re: So, anyone see TROY?

Christie is wasted, the photography is dull, the beefcake...okay, the battle scenes suck, the dialogue is preposterous, it's LOOOOOOOONG, Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom suck, the chick who plays Helen should be "the pretty girl" in some teeny-bopper flick, O'Toole is bloody brilliant but we have to watch him kneel before Brad Pitt which is just wrong, wrong, wrong. A must-miss.

It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

I agree with Borstalboy. Brad's body was lush, but no full frontal nudity sent me right back to the Gaiety to catch Phantom2's second show.

re: So, anyone see TROY?

Saw Troy today and ejoyed it and Brad and Orlando were well worth the price of admission.

I was disappointed that it gave you some on screen information at the start of the film but gave none at the end. And not being up to date on the Illiad, I have no idea what happened after Troy fell.

re: So, anyone see TROY?

I saw "Troy" today - on the spur of the moment. I thought it was "okay" - not horrible, not fantastic, but just okay - I'd probably rate it a C+. Eric Bana turned in a better acting performance than Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom did. It was nice to see Peter O'Toole and Julie Christie on-screen again. I'm sorry that the director didn't make more of this epic story - as it should have been better. I would suggest to wait to see this movie on cable or as a rental, but a film of this scale does much better on a big screen than on a small one. So if you are a fan of these actors (Brad is eye candy, no doubt), enjoy lots of fighting, and have a penchant for ancient Greek history, then you will probably not mind the investment of your time and money on "Troy". If these items don't apply, choose another movie.

I saw troy today. Eric Bana is so gorgeous to look at. Brad Pitt is kind of dull. Orlando Bloom is verey effeminate. The entire movie theater was at times laughing hystericaly at his line readings.

re: So, anyone see TROY?

Brad was a fabulous War Machine, but ERIC BANA was just OUTSTANDING....not a great great movie, but it was entertaining enough. The Battle Scenes were very cool....Helen was dull... it was great to see Peter O'Toole.....I guess Orlando will be an Archer in all his big movies...lmao

BANA WAS VERY VERY VERY GOOD....LOVED HIM....OUTSTANDING...I think the movie is HIS

re: So, anyone see TROY?

Are there any suggestions that Achilles and Patroclus were actually lovers ? I don't hope so re: So, anyone see TROY?
Also is it true that they show Achilles entering Troy as well ? This is pure crap. Achilles was killed by Paris before the Trojan horse was constructed. I am seeing it next week. You can imagine what's going on in the Greek cinemas with the film. Can't find a single seat :)

Take care
