Some questions about theatre in Las Vegas

I'll be there for a conference August 2-6, and wanted to see this Phantom Vegas Spectacular, and also O, the Cirque show at the Bellagio.
I had no idea tickets to these shows were so expensive! Even with a $50 discount for Phantom that I found, tickets would still be over $100! Are there any discounts for O available?
Does Las Vegas have a variation on the TKTS booth? Any chance these shows might be offered there?
I'll be staying at the Rio and won't have a car. Anything I need to know about getting to either of these shows. Is it far? Will I need to take a cab?
Thanks!!!!

I'm usually real good in finding deals for shows in general but finding discounts for Vegas shows can be extremely difficult. Here are a couple:
TravelZoo.com has Phantom @ 50% discount

Bellagio's website offers tix @ 25% discount

I believe there is a 50% discount ticket booth located in a couple of places along the strip. However, they seem to offer only tickets to the tacky glitter shows featuring showgirls, etc.
And I think Rio is located a little bit away from the strip, if I'm not mistaken. If I were walking from Rio to even Bellagio (closest one from Rio), I would at least give myself a 20 to 30 minute walk, especially since you'd have to walk through the casino in most instances to reach the "showrooms" (theaters) for those resorts.

Thank you, both!
Yeah, I got the feeling we were far from the Strip, but what can I say when I'm not paying for any of this?
