You're damn lucky classes haven't started yet and I've got so much time on my hands. :P Comments and questions:
Who's Michael Starobin?
You spelled Arthur Laurents wrong. :)
The Birdcage?
I can't believe you put in By George. Seriously. :P
I came this close to missing the "z" in Thomas Z. Sheperd.
Oscar Hammerstein 2? Seriously? It's II, I thought.
But I got an A anyway. I only missed 2. One of which involved your 2. Nice puzzles.
P.S. I would have put in Angela Lansbury at some point- she does have originating roles in Anyone Can Whistle and Sweeney Todd to her name. Not to mention the OLC of Gypsy.
Starobin is an orchestrator.
I'll fix Laurents.
The Birdcage has some songs by Sondheim, including LOVE IS IN THE AIR and the very beginning of CAN THAT BOY FOXTROT?
BY GEORGE...
2.....well I could have done II, but two 'i's made less sense than '2'
And I forgot Angela????? I need to fix that.

Was Sondheim uncredited for The Birdcage? Because it doesn't appear to be in his IMDB or IBDB credits...
He is credited. Scroll down to 'Original Music by'.
He also wrote 'Little Dream' for the movie.
The Birdcage
And I find it funny that they count 'Love is in the Air' and 'Can That Boy Foxtrot' as "Original Music"!
'Love' was cut from FORUM in the '60s and 'Foxtrot' was cut from FOLLIES in the 70s. THE BIRDCAGE was in 1996. How do they decide what is 'original'?

I guess "original" means it was never really performed before. Lots of older musicals contain "trunk songs" unused in other shows.
And dude, I swear the first time I tried to find "cage" in his IMDB credits nothing came up. :)
Yeah....it wasn't in the first or even second clump. It was in the third clump.
