Hey, is anyone going to the SETC in March?

<--- the set of A Midsummer Night's Dream that I was assistant stage manager for during the 2007 season at the STNJ outdoor stage.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.
~Dirty Rotten Scoundrels~

There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel.
~Curtains~

It is a far, far better thing I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest I go to, than I have ever known.
~A Tale of Two Cities ~

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

I'll have to check, but I believe my aunt and uncle go to this.

To what capacity will you all be there? Festival? Auditions? University reps? Regional reps? Students?

I'm a directing student, going for workshops, job contact, and to observe festivals.

I leave tomorrow for New York and then straight to Chattanooga. See everyone there!

I'm auditioning w/ the equity group. I realize there is probably no work for me there, but Chattanooga is so close to home, and I mainly go to stay in contact w/ old friends.

I'm heading down thursday afternoon, out saturday mid day
