Romantico, I didnt realize I missed the worst part of what he said. I humbly stand corrected...It thought he only used the word gay and that his complaint was that he didnt have a selection of women to harass, not particularly anti-gay. Now I see he's a womanizer AND a homophobe.

One of the comments I read said more than likely the airline FORCED him to apologize,accept a week suspension and go away for sensitivity training. Not only a womanizer and homophobe but a potential adulterer as well. I stand by my initial post. Fire his a$$! This pilot's conduct reflects Southwest Airlines image.

No one who speaks so casually the way he did about women and gays all of a sudden "change" and wish to be a better and 'more tolerant' person. This does not happen over night or over a course of a week. He is an adult and my guess is he has felt this way all his adult life. Suddenly getting caught and having your hate exposed and the fear of losing your job and marriage will make ANYONE say ANYTHING in order to keep both.

He is not sorry at all. Oh, he will be careful what he says now and be on alert 24/7, but sorry? NO WAY!
