If you have seen the movie Sparkle, do you find it was released today, close to the timing of Dreamgirls.

It is a great movie with great songs.Check it out.

You are talking about Dreamgirls, right? Sparkle is a horrible movie.

Someone over at IMDB summed it up this way:

"Bottom-line, hot girl group gets taken advantage of, some one gets hooked on drugs, someone gets hooked on a guy, some one gets the hell out, and then the horrible stuff happens. Surprise, surprise. Welcome to the music business."

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Does it really come out today or next week? I've seen different dates in different places.

Of course this was planned, and so was that DVD cover.


Remember when Chicago was a hit, and then the old Ginger Rogers "Roxie Hart" film came on on DVD?



And then they overhauled the packaging to the film "Cabaret" as well?



These were intentional, since we were used to seeing the Chicago posters and trailers.

Just like Sparkle is playing up on Dreamgirls now. Here's the original poster. They actually Photoshopped the outfits and gloves to make them look more like Dreamgirls!
