DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS 1/31: Brooke Shields and Liz McCartney. Brooke was towards the back of the orchestra, and Liz was one row in front of me.

I don't know if he saw the show, but I was very happy to see Patrick Breen (of Sex and the City and Kevin Hill fame) at the stage door of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels tonight. We had a very nice chat :)

I don't remember his name in SATC, he was in one of the first few seasons, Carrie met him at the Hamptons, he was a doctor...

Oh I remember that! The one who was perfect and met them at the beach...what was his tragic flaw?

Michael McElroy was at the DRS matinee I saw on Wed.

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

Jerry Stiller was at the Feb.5th night performance of DRS with his wife. I was in the aisle seat of the right orchestra and he was on the other side of the aisle. He and his wife waited a few minutes after the show started and I didn't know who he was until intermission when someone was yelling some Seinfeld line at him. He wore a baseball cap throughout the night and came out through the stage door. That was kinda cool.

"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

I literally bumped into Caroline Rhea the other day, and gasped loudly. I frightened her.
