Before he switched parties, Arlen Spector was promised by the Dems he would retain his senority
After he made his move, today they stripped him of it. Pardon me while I stifle a giggle. Looks like the senate has claimed another victim. This time it was bloodless.
Welcome to the Democratic party Mr Spector

'Before he switched parties, Arlen Spector was promised by the Dems he would retain his senority'
I'm pretty sure senority is more a cinco de Mayo thing rather than an Ides of March thing. Plus, he switched parties in April. So, the March metaphor doesn't work at all.
'After he made his move, today they stripped him of it.'
They stripped him of his move? So they threw him back to the Republicans?
