Spring Awakening?

Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone has any idea when the rights to Spring Awakening may be released for student drama groups both within the UK & Ireland.
Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated as we have attempted to find out to no success and the matter is becoming urgent.

Spring Awakening has been acquired for theatrical licensing by Music Theatre International. It is currently restricted for licensing and I highly doubt it will become available any time soon. The show definitely will not become available for licensing prior to its 1st US national tour completing its dates, which currently has dates booked through May 2010.
