His new release is a homage to Pete Seeger. I downloaded it yesterday and can't stop listening to it. He totally gets it. It's still Bruce, but also has the feel and the energy of the best festivals I've ever been to...

On a slight threadjack, but along the lines of having much to overcome...

There is a March for Peace, Justice & Democracy in NYC on Saturday, April 29th.
Assembly begins at 10:30am, (Broadway and 22nd), and the march begins at noon.

End the war in Iraq! Bring the troops home now!
Stand up for immigrant and women's rights!

Organizers include United for Peace and Justice, NOW, RainbowPUSH coalition, Friends of the Earth and others.

There are serious issues facing our country and the world. The march intends to send a message to the White House and to Congress: Time to march, to vote, to speak out and to turn our country around!

Bring your friends. It's time for a change.

since the thread's been jacked...shouldn't they be sending that message to the american people, not the white house and congress? i mean not that i mind that their message is going to the wrong folks.

Papa--the American people already HAVE this message. It's the American people THEMSELVES who are delivering that message to the Congress and the White House...by marching, by speaking out, by voting in polls and come November, by changing the makeup of the legislature.

The American people, in vast numbers, disapprove of this lying Republican president, this corrupt Republican Congress and this illegal immoral war.

The American people are speaking this message from their hearts. It's only that stubborn 32% who still refuse to hear it.

the elections in november will prove that you can poll until your phone's dead, it's just a different story in the voting booth.
